CHIVALRY 2

I joined Torn Banner Studios on June 10, 2019 and began work as their Community Manager on their project Chivalry 2. Chivalry 2 launched on June 8, 2021.

Chivalry 2 is a multiplayer first person slasher inspired by epic medieval movie battles. Players are thrust into the action of every iconic moment of the era - from the thunder of cavalry charges, to storms of flaming arrows, sprawling castle sieges and more.


Dev Videos, Interviews, and Livestreams

A big part of my role as Community Manager was being involved in and hosting my own video content. This included being interviewed for various news outlets, including our own internal Developer Diaries series, and producing our developer livestreams on our Twitch channel on a biweekly basis. All of the Twitch streams were hosted and orchestrated by myself, and featured other members of the development team talking about their roles/contributions to Chivalry 2.

At Torn Banner, one of my tasks in addition to community management was creating promotional screenshots to be used for marketing. The scenes were composed, lit, and characters posed by myself in Unreal Engine 4, with additional final tweaks from the Art team.


CONVENTIONS & PRESS EVENTS

In March 2020, Torn Banner presented Chivalry 2 to the audience at PAX East 2020 alongside the publisher, Tripwire Interactive. During the convention I communicated with and educated the public about Chivalry 2 as they experienced it for the first time. Additionally I was responsible for taking photographs and video of the event, and assisting with setup and breakdown of our convention booth.
