STUDIO WILDCARD - ARK, 2015

I joined Studio Wildcard in December 2015 and began my journey into game development working on ARK: Survival Evolved. Initially, I was hired as the Assistant Community Manager, but I quickly transitioned to their full-time Community Manager. During this time, I also took on additional responsibilities as a Quality Assurance Analyst.

As Community Manager, I was responsible for communicating information between Studio Wildcard and the ARK community. I managed all social media accounts daily, including the official Twitter @survivetheark, the official forums survivetheark.com, and the Steam community.

As QA, I helped ensure all content met standards and worked as intended. I collaborated directly with the lead developers, designers, programmers, and engineers on a daily basis. I have worked as a QA on multiple platforms, including PC, Xbox, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and iOS (working with testkits, devkits, and TestFlight).

At the end of my time with Studio Wildcard, I was the Lead Community Manager for the ARK: Survival Evolved franchise.

EVENTS AROUND THE WORLD

I have had the opportunity to travel around the world showcasing and sharing my passion for games. The following is a list of some of the conventions I’ve professionally attended:

PAX East

I hosted multiple livestreams, as well as live-casted tournament-style games of Survival of the Fittest to thousands of viewers online. I engaged with many enthusiastic fans and interested gamers about ARK while working convention floor.

PAX West

I hosted daily live shows to kick off each day of the convention. I kept players informed about all the latest news during the event, as well as conducted interviews and showcased live gameplay throughout the weekend.

ChinaJoy

Sent as the ambassador, I travelled to Shanghai to attend a live event for Survival of the Fittest at the largest gaming convention in the region, ChinaJoy. I took on the role of both the English commentator for the competition and the 'Game Master'.

TwitchCon

I owned the technical production that allowed content creators to livestream their gameplay of a new DLC directly from our booth to their online audience. I also worked the the converntion floor, where I chatted with players and influencers.

DEV VIDEOS & LIVESTREAMS

During my time at Studio Wildcard I participated in many on-camera oppourtunities. This included community livestreams, press events, influencer exclusive events, charity events, and more.

CHARITY EVENTS

Every year, Studio Wildcard participates in the 24-hour charity livestream event called Extra Life. I was heavily involved in the production and scheduling of these livestreams.

During my time there, we were able to raise a total of over $190,000 USD for the charity with the ARK community's generous support.

TORN BANNER STUDIOS - CHIVALRY 2, 2019

I joined Torn Banner Studios on June 10, 2019, and began my journey there as their Community Manager for their highly anticipated upcoming game Chivalry 2. The day I joined the studio was the day the game was officially announced and the first gameplay tailer was released.

After an extensive period of development, Chivalry 2 was officially launched to the public on June 8, 2021. This game is a multiplayer first-person slasher that draws inspiration from the epic battles depicted in classic medieval movies. Players are thrust into the heart of the action, experiencing iconic moments of the medieval era first hand—from the resonating thunder of cavalry charges crashing through the battlefield, to terrifying storms of flaming arrows raining down from above, and the intense chaos of sprawling castle sieges, and much more.

DEV VIDEOS, INTERVIEWS, & LIVESTREAMS

One of the main aspects of my role as Community Manager was hosting and being involved in a variety of video content. This included being interviewed for a wide range of news outlets, as well as participating in our own internal Developer Diaries series. I also produced our developer livestreams on our Twitch channel, which took place on a biweekly basis. I organized and hosted these Twitch streams and they featured various members of the development team discussing their specific roles at the studio and their contributions to the development of Chivalry 2.

SCREENSHOT PORTFOLIO

Early on one of my primary tasks, in addition to my duties of managing the community, was creating promotional screenshots for marketing purposes. I enjoyed working on these, as my background before getting into the games industry was working as a photographer. The various scenes were composed, lit, and posed within Unreal Engine 4. After my initial work, the Art team would provide additional tweaks to ensure everything met our standards of quality.

CONVENTIONS & PRESS EVENTS

In March 2020, Torn Banner proudly presented our highly anticipated game to the audience at PAX East. During the convention my job was to educate the attendees about the features of Chivalry 2 as they experienced it for the very first time. I was also tasked with capturing photographs and video footage of the event to be used for promotional purposes.

TREASURE, 2023

Treasure is a decentralized gaming ecosystem. It is built on web3 technology and uses a unique currency called $MAGIC across all of the games in the ecosystem. It connects multiple diverse games, allowing users to purchase and sell digital assets among other players for all games in the network.

I had the opportunity to join Treasure on October 16, 2023 as one of their Community Managers. My primary focus was on fostering community growth, implementing community initiatives, and managing their social media. My aim was to grow their online reach to new audiences and to establish a stronger connection with the current audience to enhance engagement and participation.

TREASURE PLATFORM

The Treasure platform hosts numerous web3 games that are playable directly on the platform. It was my responsibility to actively promote all games, and act as the community manager for these titles if their developers needed extra support.

PEOPLE CAN FLY - LOST RIFT, 2025

I am currently the Community Manager for Lost Rift, by People Can Fly. Lost Rift is a first-person survival adventure shooter that blends coop PvE base building with multiplayer PvPvE extraction expeditions.

I built People Can Fly’s first community management department for its debut self-published title, creating all internal protocols, workflows, and feedback systems from the ground up. I authored all player-facing communications, including patch notes, announcements, and maintenance updates, while leading sentiment and playtest analysis to turn player feedback into actionable insights. I also supported creator and influencer programs through recruitment, vetting, and key distribution, and developed social content calendars tied to core community pillars. Additionally, I designed and executed a wishlist incentive campaign that expanded pre–Early Access reach and engagement.
